- Paper: mail, magazines, newspapers, phone books, soft cover books, cereal/pop boxes
- Cartons: milk, soup, broth, wine, juice (rinsed)
- Metal: food/beverage cans, aluminum foil/trays, pie tins (rinsed)
- Cardboard: corrugated boxes, cereal boxes
- Plastics #1-7: bottles, jugs, yogurt cups, food containers (rinsed, caps on)
- Glass: bottles and jars for wine, condiments, beer
Not Accepted
- Needles or medical waste
- Food waste or Styrofoam
- Scrap metal, ceramics, or mirrors
- Plastic bags, hangers, or rigid plastics
- Tissues, napkins, diapers, cat litter
- Garden hoses
Plastic bags can be returned to grocery stores. Hazardous waste goes to Otter Tail County HHW facility at 1115 N Tower Rd, Fergus Falls.
